Heat treatment alters the material’s microstructure, resulting in a constant core hardness across the length of the bar. Stress relieving occurs around 400 and 750 degrees Fahrenheit, then tension is released at 1200 degrees, despite its poor weldability. The HRC ranges from 26 to 32, and special HRC needs may be accommodated upon request.
