Stainless angles are one of the most popular products we stock. An angle made of stainless steel can be equal or unequal. The height, width, and depth of a stainless steel angle are denoted by the letters A, B, and C, respectively. A form is considered a bar if its largest dimension is less than three inches. Only when the angle is more significant than three inches is a “structural form,” also known as an angle.
Lasers are utilized to create laser-welded angles, and no filler material or other additive is used. This results in a high-quality weld. Materials fused with a laser often have edges that are more sharp corners and have smaller radiuses than other materials. Laser-fused stainless steel profiles have a better surface polish than extruded or hot-rolled goods. This not only improves the quality of the product but also simplifies it visually. The bead explosion that results from laser fusion is of a higher quality. Our laser-fused sections can be produced in different quantities, with a maximum production length of forty feet.
The traditional hot rolling method creates angles with rounded radius edges by feeding through a succession of rollers while heated to very high temperatures. Hot rolled stainless angle is more cost-effective way to produce than laser fused. We have many sizes available. Please contact Ameralloy Steel for current price and delivery options.
