Round Tube
Hollow and spherical, round tubes can be used in various structural applications, automobile, furniture, commercial, and architectural industries.
Tube Shape – Rectangle/Square
Modern and art deco architecture benefit significantly from using HSS rectangular tubes. Reinforcing shapes that are also visually appealing can be used to enhance the design of buildings and structures.
Tubing Finishes
Once hot-rolled, the mill finish is applied to the surface. All hot-rolled steel comes equipped with this functionality as standard.
180 – An architectural finish can be achieved with a grit belt or polished finish. Polishing the grit lines evenly and in the same direction creates an appealing visual surface finish.
240 – can be used to prevent bacteria from growing in the crevices by polishing with a 240 grit. Bacteria can often grow in the tiniest of spaces, but this is easily remedied in 240. Food services and architectural environments frequently use this finish.
320 – This is one of the highest grip polishes available, with a flawless finish and a superior polish.
Polished – Polishing the tube helps remove surface imperfections to give it a shiny finish.
Buffed – Has a brilliant sheen characterized by the Buffed finish.
Mirror Buffed: The steel has been buffed to a finish that looks like a mirror finish. This is the highest possible finish available.
Stainless steel tubes are typically made from three types of stainless steel. It is less corrosion-resistant than austenitic steel, but it is durable. Although martensitic steels are the toughest stainless steels now available, their corrosion resistance is the lowest of any existing alloys. Ferritic-austenitic steel hybrids are also becoming more prevalent.
